Level access tram stops nearby are:

• ·       Stop 6 Swanston Street for trams 86 and 96 (approx. 150m).

Car Parking

Secure Parking is proud to be a partner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. They are offering all Comedy Festival ticketholders discounted parking at selected car parks. There are designated on-street Accessible Parking Bays available at the following locations:

• ·       Flinders St between Elizabeth Street and Swanston Street (approx. 400m)
• ·       Flinders Lane between Elizabeth Street and Swanston Street (approx. 350m)

The best spot for drop off and pick-ups is either on Collins Street or Little Collins Street.

Accessibility

Max Watts is a basement venue off Swanston Street, directly across the road from the Melbourne Town Hall.

Whilst the venue has a service lift that can be used to access the main theatre and mezzanine levels, it is not considered step free or wheelchair accessible as a result of historic architecture and seating arrangement.

All shows at Max Watts will perform at an accessible venue at a point during the Festival. Please see How to Book Your Ticket to enquire about venue access in Max Watt's.

The venue can be accessed by a staircase of approx. 25+ stairs, which services both levels, with landings at several points. The staircase has both left and right handrails for the length of the staircase. Speak to security or a member of staff if you require the use of the service lift.

Bathrooms

There are bathrooms at the rear of the basement level performance space. Please note that there are no accessible bathrooms at Max Watts.

Bar

There is a bar in both the mezzanine area and the basement level performance spaces and both bars are operational prior to each show but will close 5mins prior to show start time.
