Loud and Pace

Yeah Nah Pavlova

  • New Zealand

Yeah Nah

Yeah Nah [yeh-na] – to mean not really, the short form of "yes but also no!"

In the time honoured tradition of epic female comedian duos – French and Saunders, Kath and Kim – we are thrilled to introduce Loud and Pace for their Australian premiere season and their very first Melbourne International Comedy Festival show, Yeah Nah Pavlova.

Nonsensical and like squabbling siblings, New Zealand and Australia's cultural oddities are taken on head to head in Sandra Pace and Loud Jess's breakthrough show.

With their fresh-off-the-boat perspectives, these two unlikely comedians come together to navigate the yeah's and nah's of Aussie and Kiwi life. And finally answer the age-old question that has divided both sides of the ditch since time immemorial – who really invented the pavlova?

Suitable for audiences 18+

Language – occasional coarse language

Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
