Laura Johnston

That's... Brave

  • Australia

In 2022 Laura Johnston quit her job to pursue stand-up comedy before she ever set foot on a stage to see if it was actually for her. The response from her family and friends at the time was immediate and consistent: "oo Laura, that's... brave".

Just shy of three years later Laura has turned their response into her first solo hour, taken that hour to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where it was listed in "this years top show picks Edinburgh Fringe 2024" by Theatre Village and is now taking it to you, at Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Suitable for audiences 15+
