Max Flett & Montana Papadinis

Subletting My Room For An Hour

  • Australia

Max and Montana are both looking for someone to sublet their rooms. One hour, $2000. Bills not included. Six hours from the CBD. No internet. Bond required. Also they both still live with their parents.

Fresh from the 2025 Adelaide Fringe, comedians Max Flett and Montana Papadinis bring a stand-up show about trying to move out of your parents' house and how hard life is to be so young and cool (their words).

Montana went to Europe this year to "find herself". It didn't work.

Max moved out of his parents' house to try and impress girls. He has since moved back home.

Both of them are still scabbing cigarettes and telling everyone they’re "looking for a new share house", they're not...

If you’ve ever stretched a paycheck for a pint, or if you've got a vape they can use for a bit, this show's for you!

Montana Papadinis, a RAW Comedy State Finalist, is a Melbourne-based stand-up comedian and actor. A rising star, she recently performed in the cult hit Breast of the Fest at Melbourne International Comedy Festival and will soon appear in season 4 of Lee Galea’s TV series Single Out, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. Montana will make you laugh with her painful relatability, delivering sharp, hilarious takes on her unique experiences and the world around her. Bold and unapologetic, she’s not afraid to voice her opinions – always with a comedic twist.

Max Flett is a young comedian in the Melbourne scene, grappling with the fear that he may soon lose his status as 'the young guy’ – and then, what does he have going for him? Recently, he directed and starred in the 2024 Melbourne Uni Law Revue sketch show and performed stand-up in the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. His stand-up show was about quitting vaping. He has since relapsed... So much for laughter being the best medicine. His comedy feels like when you’re at a party stuck talking to someone boring but you can hear a better conversation within earshot. But I’m not telling you which one he is.

'Montana Papadinis, a 2024 RAW Comedy state finalist showing the crowd that it is a title she deserves!' Scenestr

'The exuberance of Max...a neat bow on this gift wrapped box of comedy.' Praise Dionysus!
