Lena Moon

Rube Goldberg Machine

  • Australia

A Rube Goldberg Machine is a machine created with the intent of making simple tasks harder. Lena Moon is one of those, despite her best efforts.

Come spend an hour with Lena in her solo comedy show debut as she packs her colourful life stories full of jokes and explores humanity's, and her own, affinity to make simple things harder for themselves.

If you don't know Lena from her shows with Something Good Improv weekly Wednesdays at Comedy Republic, you might know her from Twitch, caught one of her shows with her duo Annie and Lena, seen some of her funny writing on the TV (Good Game Spawn Point, Thank God You're Here, Starship Q Star) or even caught her being silly on screen (The Emu War, The Organist, Aunty Donna's Coffee Cafe, Most Upsetting Guessing Game).

Directed by Emma Holland.

Suitable for audiences 18+

Language – occasional coarse language

Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
