Cousin Tara
Bootersloot
If you’re not judging yourself, your cat definitely is.
Cousin Tara is sifting through the washing basket of her life, and suspects she’s being watched. Is this an out-of-body experience or is the cat in the room with her? It's the latter. And the cat is you!
Do you like what you see? Blink once for yes, meow twice for no.
Cousin Tara is Melbourne’s own guitar-slinging cabaret rockstar known for her catchy melodies and powerhouse pipes. Her most recent comedy hour Wukkas garnered award-nominations at festivals around the country and enjoyed a digital release with support from the City of Melbourne. Bootersloot is her fourth solo show and promises big laughs, bold sounds and the customary pitter-patter of tiny peets.
'Brilliant original songs sung with great poise and range... perceptive, personal, and just wukking funderful.' Tasmanian Times
'Nihilism has never been more-toe tapping.' Australian Arts Review
'The crazy, cool cousin we all wish we had... captivating.' Theatre Travels
