Marc Isaac
A Kilted Doc
Witness the rise and fall (and rise again) of your average autistic queer medico!
Marc Isaac is a quirky Scottish medic who likes to think a little differently.
They're camp! They're smutty! And they're outrageously quirky!
Was Marc dropped as a kid? No. He was pushed!
This is Scottish comedic storytelling, as we journey with Marc Isaac navigating the spectrum through childhood and then medical school and ending up queer and autistic working in palliative care and mental health.
In this show, Marc will entertain and bamboozle you whilst exploring a very different perspective of health care, from both sides of the consultation. You think you know what your doctor is really thinking? You might be horrified to really find out!
What does it mean to get a diagnosis? How can understanding ourselves help us deal with neurodivergent challenges? Come explore queer neurodivergence from medical, queer and manifestly autistic perspectives, maintaining the cynicism of a perpetual skeptic and the hopefulness of a naïve optimist.
"Laughter is the best medicine, and this cheeky doctor is putting themselves out of business!" Brad Oakes, comedian.
Suitable for audiences 18+

Drug references
Language – occasional coarse language
Licensed venue: under 18s will only be permitted with a parent or guardian
