Australian Comedy Management presents
Lawrence Leung: The Marvellous Misadventures of Puzzle Boy
|
|
From the comic behind the acclaimed SUCKER & SOMEWHAT SECRET SOCIETY SHOW.
Under his bed, Lawrence has a locked briefcase of full of love letters he was too afraid to send. It has not been opened since 1996...
He was a boy who liked puzzles. She was the principal's daughter. To win her heart, he boasted he could solve her Rubik's Cube in less than five minutes. He had to resort to taking the stickers off.
Over the next fifteen years he would keep bumping into her, transforming his obsession with puzzles to how he would solve the riddle of unrequited love.
Part human wildlife documentary, part good old-fashioned storytelling, Lawrence finally opens his Pandora's Briefcase. These puzzling pursuits are a marblebag of bittersweet delights.
"Enthralling and very funny. Touching, thoughtful and multi-layered." The Age
