Information for Performers

The 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival will take place from 27 March to 21 April.

The 2024 registration site has now been closed off for new submissions. But don't fret! You can still register a show for the 2024 event, simply contact registration@comedyfestival.com.au.

For Performers - Registering a Show
The 2024 registration site for the 2024 Festival has now closed, but you can still register for the 2024 – simply contact registration@comedyfestival.com.au. Please note that registrations submitted after Wednesday 22 November 2023 will not be included in the official printed program guide and may not be eligible for inclusion in Festival ticketing and media promotions that may take place prior to 9 February 2024.

For Performers - Finding a Venue A database of potential independent venues is available to artists and producers interested in registering a Festival show. Individual show producers must contact venues directly. Festival Managed Venue (FMV) applications for 2024 have now closed.

For Venues - Venue Expressions of Interest
To express interest in being a Festival venue in 2024 please complete the Venue Expression of Interest form here and we will add you to our database.

Overseas Artist Expressions of Interest
All international artists (with the exception of New Zealand artists) must have approval to perform as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Overseas artists are welcome to complete an expression of interest via completing an Overseas Artist Expression of Interest Form and emailing it to registration@comedyfestival.com.au

For performers - Festival Managed Venue (FMV) Expressions of Interest
FMV applications for 2024 have now closed. If you wish to discuss a late FMV EOI for the 2024 Festival please contact lillian@comedyfestival.com.au. Expressions of interest for performing in a Festival Managed Venue (FMV) in 2025 will open again in late 2024.

Registrations for the Class Clowns and Deadly Funny competitions are now open, and RAW Comedy registrations will open later in the year - make sure you like us on Facebook (RAW ComedyClass Clowns and Deadly Funny) for announcements.
